Wind Mitigation Inspection in New Port Richey, FL

Why New Port Richey Homeowners Need a Wind Mitigation Inspection

New Port Richey homeowners in Pasco County face real wind risk every hurricane season. Many homes may be eligible for wind mitigation credits, but only if those features are properly inspected and documented.

Note that Florida introduced a new wind mitigation form on April 1, 2026, and some insurers may ask for an inspection on the new form even if your last report is less than five years old. Ask your insurance agent what your carrier requires and how the credits apply to your policy.
