Wind Mitigation Inspection in Timber Pines, FL

Why Timber Pines Homeowners Need a Wind Mitigation Inspection

Timber Pines homeowners in Hernando County face real wind risk every hurricane season. Many homes may be eligible for wind mitigation credits, but only if those features are properly inspected and documented.

Note that Florida introduced a new wind mitigation form on April 1, 2026, and some insurers may ask for an inspection on the new form even if your last report is less than five years old. Ask your insurance agent what your carrier requires and how the credits apply to your policy.
